Matt Sickle

MATT SICKLE, LEED AP ND, joined MVLA in 2013 and has worked mainly on academic and institutional projects. His previous work experience includes academic and urban planning projects at Ayers Saint Gross in Baltimore, Maryland and an internship at Campion Hruby Landscape Architects in Annapolis, Maryland.

As a graduate student, Matt was a member of the University of Maryland’s winning 2011 Solar Decathlon team, and a national finalist in the ULI/Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Master of Landscape Architecture, both from the University of Maryland. In 2015 he earned accreditation as a LEED AP ND.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys gardening and writing for his blog about monument and memorial design.
